Good morning everyone, hope all of you had a safe flight.
I am Kumud Ravisankaran, your CEO. Welcome to your
first day of work. I am really glad that all of you could join
us this morning. Today is a very special day to start work
here as we turn 7. It feels as though it was just yesterday
that I walked into this building and sat behind my desk for
the very first time. But what I get reminded of the most
today is a story, a story which defines me and had made
me the person that I am today.

K was sitting in the first bench with her friend M. It was
the end of the day and they were having chemistry and
her attention span had reached the bare minimum. So
K began recounting what she constantly visualizes to M.
A vision of an older version of herself getting out of her
dream car, in a suit, walking into a company that she runs,
just after graduating from the university that she always
wanted to attend- Stanford. M was actually tired of hearing
this for the thousandth time, but she realized that, this
what K really wants. So instead of teasing her as usual,
M told her that she could achieve it if she wanted it and
worked hard towards it. K was surprised to hear this. But
she took what M said to heart….
And well I am standing here today, 7 years after I
achieved what I wanted. I am glad that I could and I
believe that each and every one of you can if you wish and
work.
